The next Monday morning, Parker was getting out of the shower when he thought he heard the doorbell ring. He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked out into his bedroom. He opened the bedroom door and peeked out into the hallway.

The doorbell rang again. He looked back at the alarm clock on his nightstand. If it was Colton, he was really early, over a half an hour. Since his bedroom faced the backyard, he couldn’t see if it was Colton at the door.
Parker gripped the towel closed around his waist and ran down the stairs. He peeked out the living room window and saw Colton’s car in the driveway.

Colton rang the bell a second time, then leaned his shoulder against the door frame and waited. He was early, but he wanted to see his pup. He hadn’t gotten a chance to see him since Saturday night. Okay, now the plot thickens. I believe the gray wolf is either Jed’s father or Colton’s father watching what Colton is doing with another male, let alone a human.

I quickly switched from that one to this..it started out ok but quickly realized I didn’t really remember who anyone was since they were all interchangeable. Even with the author describing the characters I still felt like I didn’t know who anyone was really, other than the main character and even he was kind of generic. Not even close with this one – I was hooked after the middle of part I. The description of Colton alone was memorable and the wolf angle totally threw me cause I was not expecting that at all.
