Austin opened his eyes, as they started to come into focus the pounding in his head reminded him of what had happened the night before. Once again his boyfriend came home from a night of hard partying and drinking. Austin slowly got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom. When he looked at himself in the mirror he cringed at reflection looking back at him: a busted lip, blackened eye, bloody nose, and a red welt on his left cheek, he felt nothing but shame.
Austin’s slim body felt bruised all over, even his golden brown hair seemed to hurt. He hardly recognized himself. The reflection in the mirror was definitely not the face he remembered. He had his mother’s looks which cast him as pretty. But his only one of his emerald eyes was visible. Eric had once loved his face, now the sight of him seemed to cause only rage.

There’s lot to be more of this story, this is just Part 1. The details of the first one got finished were told in a few grafs here, I read everything I needed to know about how the prequel ended, very wrenching. But this one has grabbed my eyeballs, hard.
Will there ever be a Part 2 ? Or did I miss it….since the Authur now has the Prequel to this story, which I Do find interesting, telling how Austin and Eric first met and all, but I Really want to know about what Happens to Austin…Does He stay there in Levy with Ryan, or maybe Ryan goes to Florida with Austin… ..Also what Happened to Eric ? So many questions Not answered , and I wish I could find out …lol
There is much to be said for cumming buckets and hot tawdry sex. And yet, there is more to be said I think for human caring and natural evolution of new relationships. And I’m a fan of universal events leading us down unexpected paths. So this story had a lot of appeal I think.

I really enjoyed reading and crying tears Austins life story i do hope Eric never finds austin and that Ryan finaly come out to his parents and austin & ryan live a happy life together on the farm. As for Eric he should should never put his hands on anyone..

Domestic Violence is hard to escape. Thank God Mrs. Steinbeck noticed and gave Austin the money to escape. I have a feeling we will see Eric again, but I have no doubt Ryan and the family will protect Austin. I have a feeling Shelly had a understanding. Ryan was questioning his sexuality and played a little match maker. Side did comment she sometimes stuck her nose into things.I have to sence Austin’s conflict between being traumatized by Eric, with no self worth and the sence of friendship and maybe a relationship with Ryan is weighing on him. He will need to work on accepting love vs being traumatized and abused.

I’ve been in a relationship like this. And it does take alot of soul searching & praying to leave…and never look back.
I want to be with a guy for companionship and romance, not that kind of shit. I guess it takes all kinds, but if a guy hit me, it would be on. I wouldn’t take that crap from anyone. A certain segment of gay population is similar to women in abusive relationships who can’t stand up for themselves and end up being punching bags. Sad.
This was the first story on udatz that I read start to finish. I loved it although I was in tears at the thought of being beaten by the one who supposedly loved me.
I love the story but I also hate it. I love that he finally found the strength to leave that SOB and that he was so lucky to find Ryan. I hate that somebody could do that to somebody they love.
