Two and a half years after I met Mark on the west coast of Denmark and introduced him to male sex, I visited him and his boyfriend Peter, who was four years older than us. We had a nice meal with good wine and talking. At some point Peter left the room and stayed away for twenty minutes. When he came back, Mark was giving my sore shoulders a much needed massage. I’d been painting the walls of my apartment the previous weekend. Peter sat down on the couch and regarded us for a bit. I shrugged and mumbled something about him probably realizing sooner and later anyway. “Perhaps, but you seem to be the guy I have to thank for getting a boyfriend who enjoyed his first times so much that he was eager for more. Not that it surprised me, because Mark had been flirting and touching me all afternoon and evening.
